Define My Watershed

Overview

Situate yourself within your own watershed. You may find your location on the map, or any other location you want to examine, and click on it to view drainage pattern information for your watershed.

Functions:

• Get My Watershed draws the watershed adjacent to the location you identify.
• Define Upstream Flow highlights all of the land area above (uphill from) your location that contributes water to your nearest stream.
• Define Downstream Flow shows where water flows below (downhill from) your location.
• Define My Watershed System shows the larger watersheds of whichyour local watershed is a part.
